Terms & Conditions

You must be 18 years of age or older to book or receive Services. Sessions for minors are not offered at this time.

2.1 Complementary, Not Medical Care. Reiki and energy healing are complementary wellness practices. They are not a substitute for professional medical, psychological, psychiatric, or other licensed healthcare treatment. Services are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or medical condition.

2.2 No Guarantee of Outcome. "Healing" refers to a potential shift in energy, relaxation, and overall well-being. It does not imply or guarantee the cure of any medical, physical, or mental health condition. Individual results vary.

2.3 Practitioner Qualifications. The Practitioner is trained and certified in Reiki and energy healing modalities. The Practitioner is also a licensed nurse (RN); however, Reiki sessions provided through Reiki with KC are offered independently of that license and are not performed within the scope of a nurse-patient relationship, nursing practice, or any medical duty of care. Nursing credentials are shared solely to reflect the Practitioner's background and are not a representation that Services constitute medical care, nursing care, or a clinical consultation.

2.4 Client Responsibility. You are responsible for your own health decisions and for consulting a licensed healthcare provider regarding any medical or mental health condition. You are responsible for integrating any insights or effects of a session into your own life and well-being.

2.5 Existing Conditions. You agree to disclose any relevant physical, mental, or medical conditions (including pregnancy, seizure disorders, pacemakers or medical devices, recent surgery, or current treatment by a physician or therapist) prior to your session, so that the Practitioner can accommodate your needs safely.

3.1 Session Location. Services are provided at the address you supply at booking. You are responsible for ensuring a quiet, private, and safe space of approximately 7ft x 7ft is available for the session (enough room for a portable massage table).

3.2 Household Members and Pets. Please disclose any pets or other individuals who may be present during the session in advance.

3.3 Travel Fee. Mobile sessions include a travel fee based on distance from the Practitioner's base location, calculated and disclosed at the time of booking.

3.4 Practitioner Discretion. The Practitioner reserves the right to decline or reschedule a session if the location is deemed unsafe or unsuitable upon arrival.

4.1 Booking. Appointments may be booked online through our scheduling platform. A completed intake form is required prior to your first session.

4.2 Cancellation & Rescheduling. Cancellations or rescheduling requests must be made at least 24 hours before your scheduled appointment. You may cancel or reschedule through the booking platform or by contacting us directly.

4.3 Late Cancellations & No-Shows. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice, and no-shows, will be charged a fee equal to 100% of the session price.

4.4 Practitioner Cancellations. If the Practitioner must cancel or reschedule a session, you will be notified as soon as possible and offered a full refund or the option to reschedule at no additional cost.

5.1 Pricing. Current session pricing, including any applicable travel fees, is listed on our booking page and is subject to change with notice.

5.2 Payment. Payment is due at the time of booking or at the conclusion of the session, as specified on the booking platform.

5.3 Deposit. A non-refundable deposit equal to 20% of the session price is required at the time of booking to secure your appointment. The remaining balance is due at the time of service. Deposits are applied toward the total cost of the session and are forfeited in the event of a late cancellation or no-show, as outlined in Section 4.

5.4 Refund Policy. All sales for completed Reiki sessions are final. Refunds are not provided for sessions received. The booking deposit described in Section 5.3 is non-refundable.

6.1 Voluntary Participation. You acknowledge that your participation in Reiki and energy healing sessions is voluntary and undertaken at your own discretion and risk.

6.2 Release. To the fullest extent permitted by law, you release and hold harmless Reiki with KC, its owner, and any associated practitioners from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, or injuries arising from or related to your participation in a session, except to the extent caused by gross negligence or willful misconduct.

6.3 Informed Consent. By booking a session, you confirm that you have disclosed all relevant health information and consent to receive Reiki and/or energy healing services.

Personal information collected through the intake form and booking platform (including name, contact details, and health information you choose to disclose) is collected and stored securely, and is used solely to prepare for and provide your session. This information will not be sold or shared with third parties except as required to operate the booking platform or as required by law.

We will never use your name, likeness, or session details in marketing materials or testimonials without your separate, explicit consent.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The most current version will always be available at www.reikiwithkc.com/terms. Continued booking of Services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Texas.
